The PNW has some of the most gorgeous scenery in the country, in my opinion. Mountains, ocean, forests, and desert- all within a few hours drive. Oregon is particularly special due to the “7 wonders of Oregon” and I squeal a little bit when clients choose one of these spots. Hannah, Brandon, and I headed east of Bend, to the Painted Hills for their engagement photos and boy did we have fun! The red hills and vast landscape added to some stunning photos for these fun lovebirds who are getting married next year.
Wondering what makes my engagement sessions and photos unique? First, I do not do poses. Like at all. Sure, I’ll set the scene a bit and may ask you to stand a certain way, but my photography style is about interaction. Movements, laughter, talking, kissing, touching, all of it! Music and booze are usually involved. Music for fun and booze to help ease the jitters away.
I also get to know the people I work with, what makes their relationship unique and special, and use those traits to set the tone for the photos. My intuition is on point and can typically read the vibe that’s going on. This helps me to know when something is working and when it’s not. The result of this formula is relaxed, unposed, and candid photos that represent who you are. You won’t find cheesy, stiff, or boring images in my work, I promise.
If you’re wanting FUN photos full of life that tell a bit of story, hit me up. I’d love to explore a lesser-known part of Oregon with you and give you photographs and an experience that you’ll love and remember for years to come.
